In our "small but mighty" agency, this requires raw imagination, great taste, resilience, strategic thinking, and keen management skills. We're looking for an experienced CD who can hit the ground running and plus-up an already strong agency with mature leadership and creative ingenuity. At this point in time, it's essential for this CD to have experience in the technology category and the passion to take on one of our most exciting clients.

Responsibilities:

Client needs and business understanding

Actively seek to understand clients' business, competitors, brand architecture.Partner with account and strategy to develop effective briefs and other creative tools.Direct communication with clients through impactful presentations and ongoing meetings.Help identify new on-brand opportunities and challenges - and ensure all creative delivers against business objectives.

Creative vision and execution

Create and inspire conceptual work that strikes a chord with target audiences.Supervise a wide range of work including ecommerce, email, video, animation, events, environmental design, social, print collateral, direct mail and web design.Run photo and video shoot production including VO recording, audio mix, color correction.Provide multi-disciplinary direction and feedback for team of copywriters, art directors and motion designers. This includes leading brainstorms and cultivating ideas - big and small.Work with project management to identify workflow, budget and timing to ensure projects remain within scope.

Agency Building

Work with account, project management and finance to meet profitability goals and manage staff plans with a deep responsibility to value for our clients.Inspire creative staff with vision, industry knowledge and general team leadership.Participate in the development of new business including ideation and pitches.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience, preferably 2+ in a creative director role.Proven experience in developing and implementing on-brand creative strategies and campaigns across various platforms, with at least some experience in tech.Experience managing teams and mentoring a small group of direct reports.Ability to manage multiple tasks and communications in a fast-paced environment.
