life while you're working to help others.Position OverviewThe Consumer Marketing Director builds and advances the optimal promotional strategy and tactical mix to increase product awareness and adoption of Cologuard among potential and returning patients. This role is responsible for identifying consumer insights, developing strategy, and building and championing brand foundations that deliver on the annual Cologuard brand plan objectives. This role is part of a team focused on executing direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns that drive patient acquisition while supporting complementary direct-to-patient programs and communications that drive adherence.The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding marketing acumen and strategic ability, as well as leadership skills such as excellent collaboration and communication across internal/external agency and executive teams; an innovative and future-minded approach to marketing campaigns, organizational design and capabilities; and a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.Essential DutiesInclude, but are not limited to, the following:Accountable for delivering the in-year consumer brand plan across all paid and owned channels for Cologuard. Deep experience needed with TV, digital video, programmatic display, social media, website, SEO and CRM marketing channels.Serve as the marketing lead for developing, refining, and implementing proven and new promotional strategies that improve CRC screening habits and Cologuard adoption with our target consumers.Lead all channel spend decisions through informed measures (marketing mix, media performance, test/learns, KPI optimizations, etc). Manage to multi-million dollar media and creative development budget.Generate salient insights utilizing market research and analytics to inform strategy and solution development.Contribute to the annual Cologuard brand plan for consumer marketing.Collaborate closely with Customer Experience, Customer Care and/or Lab Operations teams to serve as marketing lead to optimize existing programs and communications that drive patient adherence.Manage marketing agencies and external partners to develop and execute programs targeted to potential patients. Provide strategic, customer-centric, relevant, timely, and constructive feedback during development. Lead multi-disciplinary marketing agencies to work toward a common goal.Collaborate with team members and cross-functional peers to ensure alignment and/or harmony of the core brand message platform and initiatives across all stakeholder audiences, including physician, payer, consumer, etc.Collaborate with corporate affairs on branded elements of corporate partnerships and PR campaigns.Collaborate with analytics team to ensure appropriate plans are developed and executed to measure promotional program effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI. Support key longitudinal quantitative studies (i.e., "attitudes, awareness, and usage" survey); attend presentations, interpret findings, and socialize results and implications. Identify measurement plans for new-to-brand initiatives and determine and optimize against key performance indicators.Motivate and lead teams of cross-functional and external resources in a matrixed organization with competing priorities, with or without direct authority or reporting relationships; communicate effectively with senior leaders, peers, direct reports, and external partners.Proactively manage and prioritize strategies, initiatives and workload in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, entrepreneurial environment; adapt and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.Ability to travel 25% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or field as outlined in the essential duties.11+ years of experience working in marketing in the healthcare or consumer goods industry.5+ years of experience leading or directing people and/or project teams.Deep expertise in managing targeted & personalized digital marketing campaigns and executing omnichannel strategy.Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree Business Administration or field as outlined in the essential duties.Previous experience with continuous improvement, lean, or six sigma initiatives.Demonstrated ability to present to and influence senior leadership (VP level).Salary Range:$174,000.00 - $277,000.00. The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
