Studio Director

Let’s talk!What you’ll be doing:Lead multiple teams in the design and production of projects ranging from small to large,Work with teams to develop project designs that are innovative while responsible and achieve client goals,Main point of contact for clients on larger projects and act as mentor for smaller project’s point of contact,Write proposals, develop fees, and participate in interviews to win projects,Work closely with junior staff to review their work, project management, and support their career development,Mentor and support an atmosphere where staff QC their work for code, technical, permit and constructability,Coordinate with consultants and in-house engineers,Participate in all phases of project design and construction.Here’s what you’ll need:Bachelor or Master of Architecture from NAAB accredited institution,15+ years of professional architecture experience,Professional licensure (Virginia preferred),Proficiency in Revit (required),Substantial experience managing projects, leading and mentoring junior staff, and team building,Demonstrated business development skills within the industry,Significant experience with complex projects and contracts,Ability to travel to other Baskervill offices or client project locations, as needed.What we offer:Medical, dental, and vision insurance,Paid parental leave,401K match,Short- and long-term disability,Volunteerism opportunities and support,Paid personal time,Flex spending account.Baskervill is proud to be an equal opportunity employer M/F/Disability/Veteran, and drug-free workplace.
