Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer to join our Design Studio!Senior Interior Designers are responsible for the development of space plans, concepts, creation of program documents, finish plans, specifications, and material selections for interior design projects.The Interior Designer position at Ware Malcomb provides a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, supporting project teams across Ware Malcomb's 28 office locations. Our portfolio includes workplace, retail, mixed use, hospitality and healthcare projects.

Prepares and conducts client presentations while meeting project goals.Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with clients.Follow projects from inception through construction in order to maintain design quality and intent.Conducts programming efforts to facilitate space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment.Responsible for selection and specification of FFE, all finish materials and artwork. Understands material requirements and preliminary costs.Supports the Construction Administration phase responding to RFI’s, CO’s, and reviews shop drawings.Keeping the project team on schedule and on budget while providing a cohesive design.Coordinates with Project Managers.Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff in correctly documenting design.Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, industry partners, and Ware Malcomb employees.Implements and uses the best practices of Ware Malcomb for all projects and processes.Contributes in office activities and involved in design community organizations.Senior Interior Designer Qualifications:

Preferred 10 year min. of experience in Interior Architecture Design.Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or Technical College Degree/Certificate in an accredited Interior Architectural related program.Accreditation/Registration/Licensure or Pursuing Accreditation/Registration/Licensure preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.Ability to create complete presentation packages is essential.Experience in Deltek Vision, Newforma, and MS Office preferred.Experience in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, Adobe Suite, and Sketchup.Proficiency in Revit.Advanced knowledge of building regulations and safety codes.
