JOB SUMMARY

Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.Responsible for providing support with Media Governance and Research functions within the Media Department across traditional and digital media.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Responsible for ensuring the validity of all investments inclusive of all media channels.Conduct routine audits of media placements and investment strategies in collaboration with agency partners.Develop and maintain all brand safety guidelines and procedures.Oversee all competitive and industry reporting and analysis.Work in partnership with Business Planning to reconcile all budgets and related tasks.Oversee agency operations in partnership with legal and procurement.Support Media team by using data to develop audience insights that will guide media strategy, media planning, and execution.Gain an understanding of business needs and recommend research solutions based on those needs.Maintain knowledge of key industry and product trends, including internal customer research and industry research (telecom/cable/media/digital).Generate innovative, strategy-driven research programs that utilize the best possible techniques to provide useful insight, particularly in growth areas such as digital and mobile.Monitor competitive strategies to identify new opportunities.Fulfill various ad hoc requests for media governance and research as needed.Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English.Effective communication, analytical, and writing skills.Effective problem-solving skills and ability to implement changes rapidly that positively impact media performance.Ability to deliver under pressure.Ability to effectively see trends, themes, and macro impacts.Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization.Effective attention to detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment.Demonstrated in-depth Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Required EducationBachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university, preferably in a related field of study. Additional research academia, training, certification, memberships, or research affiliations are all relevant.Required Related Work Experience and Number of YearsMedia strategy planning and buying experience, agency, publisher, and/or client-side - 4+ years. Experience with auditing of media buys and executions to validate investments, placements, and fraud. Experience with data analysis, interpretation, presentation, and delivery. Experience with Nielsen, ComScore/Rentrak, MRI, Scarborough, Simmons, and Kantar Media data. Experience with digital monitoring and tracking tools, including DoubleClick, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Pathmatics.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAbility to support the complete auditing and research processes, including outside agencies, partners, consultants, and vendors.Knowledge of all major research methodologies, leading companies, associations, publications, industry trends, and innovations.Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of YearsManagement or leadership experience - 2+ years.WORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTSPhysical Requirements and Mental Requirements.
