Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Responsibilities At CESO, a Director of Design is responsible for leading the process of creating and developing the fundamental design principles to guide projects from start to finish. You will have primary responsibilities that include:Provide guidance to team members by delegating and coordinating the work of the team, or working with Job Captains, Interior Designers, Project Construction Administrators and/or ArchitectsDesign and prepare 2D and 3D detailed construction drawings and designs using computer aided design (CAD) and/or building information modelling (BIM) softwareProvide interpretation of company and AHJ standards on all designs and layouts for team membersProvide direction for team members for design of schematic concepts in conjunction with client programsCorrelate, interpret, and modify data obtained from subconsultant drawings and reportsWork with team members to establish, maintain and/or implement company drawings in compliance with company drawing and CAD/BIM standardsResearch and provide direction on design options and code issuesProvide high level of customer service to team members, clients and potential clients, including setting and attending team and client meetingsReview Civil, FP, S and MEP plans to assure coordination with architectural design plansServe as quality assurance and quality control leader and reviewer in the companyReview the work of others and provide feedback and/or redlines for others to addressRead and interpret Construction DocumentsWorking knowledge of CAD, BIM and/or specificationsUnderstanding of building codes and design and construction document processManagement and guidance of the team’s overall flow and quality of workProvide guidance and direction to team members to assist them in their professional development along with identifying and delivering career path objectivesPerform other project and supervisory duties as assignedPosition Requirements Include

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 10+ years’ experience as a registered architect; or in lieu of a degree, 20+ years of Architecture experience with a current registrationExperience leading a teamArchitectural License (active) requiredCSI – CCS and/or CDT certification preferredLEED certification preferredKnowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Rendering Software, Photo Editing Software, Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travelBenefits And Perks Include
