Central Ave Compassionate Care, Inc. is one of Massachusetts' first medical marijuana dispensaries. Our mission is to provide safe, quality marijuana for medical use to qualified patients in a safe and secure atmosphere that provides for patient, employee, and public safety.The Marketing Associate supports all aspects of the marketing department with a focus on digital marketing, email marketing, SEO, and content creation. This ideal candidate is passionate, highly professional, and skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks. Strong communication, verbal, writing, organizational, and design skills are necessary. Success in this position requires an individual to be a driven and positive team player with an interest in the Cannabis Industry. This position works closely with the marketing team and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.Desired Skills:
A solid understanding of cannabis products and the cannabis industryG-Suite/Microsoft Applications, including Sheets/ExcelExperience with design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or CanvaExperience with WordPress and SEO best practicesAbility to consolidate information, interpret data and formulate action plans, reports, and presentationsAbility to analyze campaign performance, maintain reports, and communicate opportunities for improvementExcellent organization and project management skillsAbility to meet multiple deadlines and manage priorities and projects effectivelyJob Responsibilities:
Provide support for the Gage Cannabis Co and Central Ave Compassionate Care marketing teamDesign and assist in developing creative assets for a variety of campaigns including, but not limited to, email marketing, digital advertising, billboards, web pages, and printAssist in content creation including shoot preparation, setup, photography, and breakdownAssist in planning, execution, monitoring performance, and reporting on a variety of email campaignsCollaborate with team members to optimize marketing automation and lead-nurturing through email, content, events, and social media platformsAssist the marketing team in the planning and execution of showcases and events with the expectation of attending all showcases and exposAssist in the preparation and execution of in-store promotions including sales, events, and product launchesParticipate in department and initiative reviews to optimize efforts and budget allocationsCollaborate across multiple departments and outside vendors to understand incoming shipments and coordinate product launchesGeneral administrative support including data entry and cleanupAudit online menu listings to ensure consistency and accuracy of informationOther duties as assignedRequirements:
Understanding of cannabis and cannabis products2+ years of relevant experience in Marketing or equivalentExcellent communication and presentation skillsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalentExcitement to work in a fast-paced and growing industryExperience working in a team environmentMust be at least 21 years of ageCompliance with state and local cannabis regulationsMust be able to complete a comprehensive background checkHours and Availability
Monday-Friday. Minimum 40+ hours a week.Must have regular and on-time attendance, able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holiday shifts).
