We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Lead to oversee the execution of event setups according to the designer's and client's vision. The ideal candidate will have experience in event production, excellent leadership skills, and a strong ability to manage day-of-event operations to ensure flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Setup Management:
Lead the setup and execution of events, ensuring all elements align with the designer's and client's vision.
Team Coordination:
Supervise and coordinate with setup crews, vendors, and other event staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately while meeting deadlines.
Quality Control:
Inspect all setup elements, including but not limited to décor, furniture, custom builds, and florals, to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
Timeline Adherence:
Ensure the event setup follows the established timeline, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients on the day of the event, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Problem Solving:
Quickly and effectively resolve any issues or last-minute changes that may arise during the setup and throughout the event.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed during setup and breakdown, maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests.
Post-Event Evaluation:
Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to the production team.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3 years proven experience in event production, with a focus on event setup and execution.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
Attention to Detail:
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure all elements of the event meet the designer's and client's vision.
Time Management:
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected challenges calmly and efficiently.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
Must be able to work on your feet as well as stationary for at least 10 hours daily.
Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 50 pounds.
Must be able to kneel, bend, crouch and climb 16’ ladders.
Pay Range:
$33 - $45 DOE
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance
