As an Intern, youll begin making an impact on real projects from day one! Come prepared to grow, develop, and learn alongside a team and the leaders of our company. The Iridium Internship program is a 12-week program that runs from May 27, 2025 to August 15, 2025. During the program, interns will have the opportunity to provide valuable support to an Iridium department on a project or important work assignment. Interns will also be provided an opportunity to engage with senior leadership and fellow interns via regular engagement activities. Interns will participate in an end of internship presentation, where we ask them to reflect on their summer internships and present a summary of what they have learned and accomplished.What Were Looking For:As a Digital Media & Communications intern, you will collaborate with the marketing team on scripting, creative writing, short video editing, b-roll selection, advertising design and social media content creation. Your contribution will help create, deploy, expand, and maintain Iridiums brand awareness and ongoing public relations and marketing efforts., In the process you will develop new skills, enhance existing skills, and contribute to a fun team working in a fast-paced environment. Were looking for a creative team-player and hands-on learner whos ready to dive right in and start generating exciting new content!What Youll Do:Support the development of creative digital media content including short videos, animated advertisements, infographics, and social media contentAssist in developing short video scripts including both speaker content and accompanying b-roll/supporting assetsAssist in creating public-facing marketing communications including email campaigns, social media content, event/virtual event invitations, etc.Help identify and develop explanatory content for highly-valuable industry trends, applications and technologies for the Iridium blogAssist with researching new publications for advertisements, webinars, and industry reporters for new PR opportunitiesSkills Youll Obtain
