The Mechanical Drafting Department is looking for a dynamic problem solver to work with us in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is responsible for using 3D CAD programs to create models and drawings for shop fabrication and customer submittal packages.
Diligent and detail oriented with a can-do attitudeUnderstanding and implementing designs from PFD's and P&ID'sResponsible for creating new drawings and revising existing drawingsResponsible for adhering to company and client engineering standards and proceduresInteracting with the shop to ensure drawings are correct and easy to followAttending company meetingsRequirements
High-School diploma required, drafting associates degree preferredExcellent communication skills to explain technical specifics to peers and customersExcellent writing skills for creating drawing notes and instructionsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsFocus and concentration to understand complex plumbing systemsAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentExcellent time management skillsSelf-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the fieldBasic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, and OutlookAutodesk Inventor experience preferred
