Description:This posting is for more of a Generalist. Need to have experience working with UX Designers and conducting research across all stages of human-centered design or the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Interface with product, design, and development teams to raise awareness of user needs, pain points, and behaviorsUnderstand stakeholder research needs and identify the right research methodologies to address themFully execute research projects from initial kick off, to fielding/interviewing, to sharing findings as a primary researcherDevelop UX Research artifacts including proposals, moderator's guides, and results summariesSynthesize research findings elegantly and efficientlyIdentify unmet research opportunities that can add value and efficiently execute themRecruit and maintain lists of targeted research participants from internal and external sourcesServe as a source of user knowledge for the organizationQualifications:
2+ years of experience conducting formal researchMaster's Degree or higher in HCI, psychology, human factors, social science, or a related fieldPractical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques like contextual inquiry, usability testing, competitive benchmarking, interviews, focus groups, and surveysn obsession with understanding how to make amazing experiences for human beingsExperience with UX Research tools like the OptimalSort, UserZoom, UserTesting.com, or other toolsExperience with Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or other survey platformsWillingness to challenge the status quo when it comes to addressing the needs of usersEnthusiasm in ambiguity and uncertaintyComfort operating autonomouslyNice To Have
