-The role is an equal partner to the Creative Director in leading their Brand Innovation Lab vertical. The CD has creative ownership, and the Solutions Manager has business ownership.

-Business ownership means building relationships with Advertising clients as a partner in addressing their business and marketing challenges, helping them navigate the client's ecosystem, and thinking about how to work with Brand Innovation Lab over the long-term, instead of as one-off campaigns.

It also means building relationships with Sales—not just the AEs but the Sales Leads and Directors to understand where their business can benefit from BIL and where BIL can innovate to help drive incremental revenue.

-The PM is a critical contributor to the strategic vision of the Pod.

-PM’s are constantly learning about new opportunities within and outside the organization to help push the Creative team to take full advantage of the myriad channels and products we offer or can create.

-The PM should use Custom tools like Asana, Salesforce and other pre-sale scoping mechanisms to help the entire team “see around corners” to avoid pitfalls, delays, and mistakes.

-The PM is primarily involved in pre-sales but checks in regularly to ensure successful execution.

-The PM must also play the frontline role in controlling the intake vs. available resourcing process.

-The PM needs to partner with the BI team to utilize data and tracking mechanisms so that the team is looking far enough ahead that Pod leadership can ask for incremental headcount—far enough in advance to onboard a new hire so they can meaningfully contribute to avoid our team’s utilization spiking for long periods of time.

LP: Ownership: should think like a co-owner of the vertical’s revenue goal and team resources, monitor revenue trends, and adapt accordingly. Sr. SM should look to make the moves that set the Pod up to achieve long-term revenue and market share goals while addressing workflow inefficiencies and resourcing constraints.

•Think Big: should constantly think about the future and how we drive Advertising to fulfill its potential through the business and operation decisions we make as a pod and BIL org.

•Earn Trust: Sr. SM needs to consistently make the right decisions and recommendations, earning the trust of the team, the CD partner, the Sales org, and the client. should become a go-to resource when others have problems or need advice on how to develop a campaign, work with partner teams or steer the priorities of the business.

•Insist on the Highest Standards: influence helps raise the bar for the entire working team. This role ensures that the campaign team seeks to deliver excellence in all they do, that they take the necessary steps to ensure they’re individually thinking as big as possible, but also deliver with accuracy and on time.

•Dive Deep: will dive into the details of the client’s campaign and BIL team’s proposed solution to become the expert on everything associated with the campaign, or knowledge of who is the expert and can leverage their expertise quickly. No detail is too small to explore to ensure flawless delivery. No risk is too small to take steps to address and no opportunity is too small to explore with the team.
