Job Description Role Purpose Please note: The preferred location for this position is Greensboro, NC but support from nearby areas will be considered depending on experience and qualifications. To support this challenge, Syngenta's Commercial Team is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist and Communications Lead. As the Digital Marketing Strategist and Communications Lead, you will develop and implement online strategies that increase awareness of and affinity to the company, its products, services, and offerings. Specifically, you will be responsible for setting the overarching content strategy for and managing various aspects of the company's online presence, including social media, SEO/SEM, online publications, and content on a variety of websites and associated platforms. You will fulfill the role of a traditional marketing communications lead while simultaneously serving as the strategist and in-house resource for digital expertise. Accountabilities Coordinate integration and automation between existing digital platforms to create effective communication channels and seamless customer experiences. Deliver, deepen and defend the positioning of our products and offerings through online channels, complementing while extending campaigns and initiatives beyond traditional communication mediums. Serving as a key digital marketing expert, you will be charged with providing insight and steer for best-in-class digital content consumption and engagement. Optimize the customer experience through creative, differentiated and impactful online approaches, enhancing customers' perception of Syngenta as an innovative, collaborative and trusted partner. Direct and execute the content strategy for digital marketing communications, including web, SEO/SEM, social media, online publications and display advertising Use creative and innovative approaches and platforms to maximize customers' online content experiences Provide leadership and expertise to optimize the digital channel mix and effectiveness within campaigns Utilize strong analytical acumen to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience with content across multiple digital channels and customer touchpoints Identify online trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights Evaluate emerging digital content technologies and provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption, where appropriate Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business and/or related degree A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with strong demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and a proven track record of building, positioning and launching brands and initiatives via traditional and online mediums Experience leading digital marketing in a B2B industry Experience in deploying digital marketing channels (content marketing, email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, display advertising, etc.) Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship from Syngenta Preferred Requirements Experience in building and implementing omnichannel campaigns Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns Excellent creativity skills coupled with a strong customer focus orientation Knowledge and demonstrated usage of marketing and communication principles Experience with online testing as well as website analytics and ad serving tools What We Offer: A culture that celebrates diversity & inclusion, promotes professional development, and strives for a work-life balance that supports the team members.
