We support organizations in navigating the complex cybersecurity landscape, ensuring they achieve and maintain compliance while managing risks effectively.Position Summary:The Proposal Writer will be part of a team that is responsible for responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and related documents such as; Requests for information (RFIs), sources sought notifications (SSNs), and helping to maintain proposal templates, including methodologies, case studies, and resumes. (RFPs will be identified and assigned by the Proposal Manager.)Required Experience:1-5 years’ experience in proposal writingBachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism, or equivalent experienceExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to:Take ownership of the proposal writing processEnsure output is compelling and provides a consistent messageUnderstand complex RFP requirements and ensure they are addressedWork under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlinesLearn quickly and understand current/new toolsWork autonomously and as part of a teamHigh degree of:Flexibility and the ability to work in a small, fast-paced environmentOrganization and attention to detailExcellent time management skillsRoles & Responsibilities:Read/parse RFPs, develop requirements matrices, and conduct research on requesting organizationsCreate clean, compelling proposals, statements of work, and RFI/SSN responsesTake ownership of delegated RFPs throughout the proposal development/delivery lifecycleHelp maintain/improve/develop proposal templatesResearch and understand current and new service offeringsEnsure consistency in tone, voice, company mission, and brandCollaborate with graphic designers to identify opportunities for compelling graphicsCoordinate with subject matter experts to obtain technical contentCommunicate effectively, efficiently, oftenPreferred & Prioritized:Experience writing proposals:
In a cybersecurity environment or other technical field of focusFor public sector (SLED/Fed) clients
