This position is a key to the success of the marketing function as it manages the development and deployment of content across the various digital marketing channels that support CSIs many business units.The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for liaising in the development and deployment of content across the organization and supports the overall CSI value narrative. By working to execute the marketing strategy, this position ensures that content reaches customers and potential partners and ensures the deployment of key content that demonstrates the value proposition of the business units that we support. Your activities will see you execute online and digital marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and organic), affiliated marketing, social network management, and other channel marketing to create “buzz,” drive traffic and generate leads. As a trusted and key component of the marketing team, you will gather and translate ideas into content and promotional marketing campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation for our brands. As you work to deploy content across the various marketing mix, you will conduct analysis for program effectiveness and use the findings for enhancement to the content mix and to leverage data and analytics to optimize campaigns. Your ability to keep up to date with industry news and trends will ensure our messaging remains current and aligned with the evolving landscape.You are a self-starter that loves to create, analyze, and get stuff done. The ideal candidate can see the content creation and deployment process from end to end and likes to get in the trenches to execute on the content and communications that deepen partner engagement across the CSU business units.This position reports to the Director, CSI Digital, Content and Brand.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Content Development and Deployment (50% FTE)Responsible for the comprehensive development and deployment of CSIs Marketing content across business unit marketing channels.Create, test, and implement compelling content, messaging, and value propositions that impact our business and our customers.Support customer communications through the development and deployment of Marketo emails. Engage in the development of the brand narrative about McKesson’s differentiated value that resonates with our customers and prospects.Align with the product marketing team on product social strategy & presence, including product releases & marketing initiatives.Provide basic content updates to BU websites through CMS.Support the creation of sales enablement materials including capability presentations, digital/web content, product collateral, case studies, white papers, and other sales collateral.Coordinate with product marketing managers and designers on the development of social assets and deployment.Monitor email and social analytics and make recommendations on how to pivot/refine accordingly.Develop/manage and advise on the content calendar.Assist in capturing the voice of the customer in positioning, messaging, and content.Utilize analytics tools to track KPIs, user behavior, and content effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.Content Creation (50% FTE)Develop and possess a deep understanding of narrative and positioning across the CSI business units to align content and messaging effectively and continuously.Work with design team to create visual content in various formats, such as PowerPoint presentations, infographics, or supporting videos, to visually represent our narrative and engage our external audience.Create, schedule, and manage daily posts, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and branding.Implement basic SEO content updates according to overarching SEO strategy and plan.Collaborate across McKesson and with CSI cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, to gather necessary information and insights to develop impactful, narrative driven content that drives brand engagement across the marketing mix.Minimum RequirementDegree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.EducationBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is required.Critical Skills4+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field, with a focus on digital trends and content creation.Experience in the biopharma or healthcare industry is highly desirable.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.Additional SkillsExcellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to use numbers, data, and visual content to tell a story, influence decision makers, and explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences.Proficient in Marketo or other similar email marketing platform with the ability to code and create email templates and campaigns.Proficient in visual content creation using tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe suiteDemonstrated understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including the mechanics, economics, policy issues, stakeholder influences, and impacts across the value chain.Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills used effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels in a matrixed environment.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand and customer marketing strategies to include innovative approaches and digital engagement.Experience developing and executing digital media, earned media, paid media and social media strategies.Knowledge of paid digital advertising, including Google Ads and social media ads.Strong knowledge of marketing principles and utilizing market research insights to effectively translate market trends and customer needs into actionable resources and tactics.Creativity, innovation, high standards, and attention to detail.Strong self-starter mentality, with the ability to proactively generate ideas and drive efforts.Proven ability to prioritize activities, manage multiple tasks within deadlines, and drive high-level strategy and execution of projects.Strong collaboration, project management and organizational skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSGeneral Office DemandsTravel up to 20%LOCATIONLas Colinas/ Irving, TXWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
