Overview

The Director of HCP Marketing, Polyneuropathy (PN) Lead, will be a key contributor to the success of Alnylam's US TTR Marketing Team. This role is critical in driving the core business for Alnylam, focusing on developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies, tactics, and messaging that effectively engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the United States for the Polyneuropathy indication. The Director will work closely with the broader marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of these strategies throughout the organization.In addition to leading the PN efforts, the Director will play a crucial role in supporting the upcoming launch of the Cardiomyopathy (CM) indication. Specifically, the Director will serve as the competitive lead across both PN and CM, shaping strategy and execution for the hereditary patient population, and supporting HCP field execution.This position reports to the Senior Director, US TTR HCP Team Lead, and is based in Cambridge,[BT1] MA, with up to 40% travel required for conferences, KOL engagements, field training meetings, and other events.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Development of Competitive PN Strategy : Drive the creation and refinement of competitive strategies and messaging for PN across all channels, including the development of key marketing materials for field teams.Performance Narratives:

Collaborate with the TTR Marketing VP and Senior Director, HCP Lead, to develop and present performance narratives for key leadership forums. Partner closely with Analytics and Customer Insights team to distill key insights.Patient Identification Opportunities:

Identify opportunities for PN patient identification and partner with the Market Development Lead to ensure effective pull-through.Global Partnership : Work closely with global teams to share insights and strategies related to the US hATTR-PN market.Sales Collaboration:

Partner with Sales teams to gain insights and ensure alignment on PN strategy and execution.Competitive Insights & Readiness:

Lead efforts to gather competitive insights and prepare for various future scenarios, including increased competition, changes in the payer landscape, potential generic entrants, and future product launches.HCP Field Execution:

Assist in HCP field execution for ATTR-CM, including developing field materials, training, and targeting in collaboration with the CM Indication Lead and Field Strategy Lead. Lead planning & execution of ATTR-CM Launch Meeting.Hereditary ATTR Execution:

Support execution of hereditary ATTR tactics across both PN and CM.Strategic & Tactical Planning:

Support the development of forecasts, plans, strategies, and operational commitments. Serve as the captain for the 2025 US TTR Strategic & Tactical Plan.Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.CRB Review Process:

Lead the CRB Review process to ensure compliance and alignment with strategic goals.Compliance Collaboration:

Work with legal, regulatory, and compliance teams to ensure all strategies and tactics are developed and executed in a compliant manner.Agency Management:

Effectively manage relationships with Agency Partners to ensure high-quality deliverables.QualificationsEducation : Bachelor's degree in science, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry.Experience:At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry.Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies in competitive markets.Preferred experience with product launches and commercialization of new products.Strong preference for experience with specialty products.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to influence without formal authority and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve brand strategic objectives.Demonstrated experience in managing external agencies and vendors.Solid project and program management experience.Additional Requirements:Valid driver's license.Ability to travel approximately 40% to conferences/KOL engagements/field training meetings/etc.About Alnylam: Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ALNY) has led the translation of RNA interference (RNAi) into a whole new class of innovative medicines with the potential to transform the lives of people afflicted with rare and more prevalent diseases.
