Job Summary

The ideal Graphic Designer candidate will have experience in both print and electronic media. We're looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. Candidates should have a wide range of design capabilities and experience, with a solid background in visual communications, commercial art, print, digital, photography, branding, and typography. In this fast-paced work environment, the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new project. Candidates should be able to conceptualize, design and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the company's brand identity, positioning and messaging through all brand touch points (including print, web, email, social media, events, B2B and B2C marketing collateral, internal marketing and packaging, etc.).

Responsibilities:Responsible for graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion, and deliveryConceptualizes and produces graphics for all types of print and digital marketing, including product packaging, catalogs, and flyersPresents design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approvalWorks closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team on all creative projects, following the company's brand guidelinesInteracts with Copywriter to develop creative concepts and executionsWorks closely with Marketing Coordinator to keep all projects on track, utilizing project management software to monitor project progress/completion/concernsInterprets company design needs and develops concepts to suit specific guidelines while working within budget constraintsAttention to detail demonstrated by closely reviewing and using design checklistsIllustrates concepts and obtains approval by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic conceptsPrepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and artStays on the cutting edge of what's new in design, identifying opportunities to implement and experimenting with applying new methods and conceptsKnows when to be flexible and adjusts to effectively respond to changesCompletion of other tasks and duties as assignedQualifications

3+ years of experience in branding, print and web design, working within an in-house creative department or other creative team environmentHighly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft OfficeAdvanced understanding of print design best practices: utilizing a grid-system for layout, typography, design hierarchy, designing with gutters, bleed, and marginsExperience designing all types of print collateral and product packagingExperience with Keyshot and JIRA a plusHourly Range:

$28.00 - 34.00
