POSITION SUMMARYSony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking aManager, Global Content Development to lead ideation and development of branded content, including campaigns and ongoing formats, in alignment with Sony's content strategy, which will be promoted across global Sony digital and paid channels. This is a highly collaborative role that requires working with teams and coordinating across Sony companies, as well as overseeing content development with agency partners and in-house teams. The candidate will need to be creative, proactive, and highly adaptable, and must be able to understand content strategy and performance.This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the NYC office.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESIdeation of global branded content, including campaigns and ongoing formats as needed, based on our global content strategy.

Development, production, and execution for global branded content, working closely with creative agency and/or inhouse Senior Producer to bring ideation to life.

Collect and consolidate input and needs from internal teams into campaigns and original content, including paid media & organic channel teams.

Lead collaboration with Sony group companies (including Sony Pictures, Sony Pictures Television, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sony Music) to develop content opportunities and secure approvals.

Collaborate independently with global counterparts in Tokyo on inputs, feedback and execution planning for branded content and campaigns.

Track, understand and analyze performance of created content in Paid and Organic and adjust new content to learnings. Contribute data, insights and learnings to overall reporting for campaigns.

Lead delivery of assets for all branded content & campaigns across internal teams, including paid media, organic channels, and other stakeholders.

Lead and maintain key meetings as needed to facilitate our working model, from status meetings to team brainstorm sessions for content ideation.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITIONYour qualifications and experience should include:A Bachelor's degree is required.

A minimum of 5 years of content experience & marketing at a creative agency or in-house brand.

Must demonstrate experience developing original content ideas & campaigns from start to finish, directly and/or with creative/production partners. At ease with the production process, providing clear feedback and ability to 'speak the language'.

Experience working as a Creator and/or with Creators, understanding what makes them tick, and creating engaging content to connect with them. Experience across a wide range of Creators preferred.

A successful candidate is an excellent planner and communicator with a thorough, highly creative mind and attention to detail.

Deep understanding of the content marketing and social media landscape, including how the various social channels differ, social trends and culture and paid media.

Deep understanding of how brands should communicate and present themselves authentically.

Understand how to create content that is compelling and fits well with both our strategy and the target audience.

Excellent project management skills to efficiently run multiple concurrent types of responsibilities and activities.

Exceptional collaborator and experience working with various entities and partners.

Experience in measurement and reporting: ability to collect, analyze and use content & campaign performance data to develop actionable creative learnings.

Ongoing curiosity about the brand marketing landscape and evolving best practices.

A genuine love for and excitement about the entertainment and technology industries, consistently staying on top of fast-moving culture. Strong intuition is key to our activities.

Knowledgeable of, or curious to learn about, the Sony brand and its group companies, including PlayStation, Sony Pictures, Sony Music, Sony Electronics, and more.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
