Job Summary
The Visual Merchandiser will spearhead the development of product flow and displays to showcase the extensive range of Lulus products, spanning clothing, footwear, and accessories. Your creativity will shine as you craft captivating merchandise stories, elevating the consumer shopping experience. This multifaceted role requires close collaboration with the Store Manager to manage inventory needs and new product launches, translating our product vision into an in-store reality. Additionally, you will serve as a team leader, imparting brand quality, trends, and styling guidance to store stylists. The ideal candidate is a seasoned visual merchandiser with a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit, ready to innovate and refine processes in pursuit of excellence.
Your role as a Visual Merchandiser will be central to creating an unforgettable in-store experience, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our flagship store on Melrose.
What You'll DoPartner with the Store Manager to understand upcoming trends and product timelines and how to translate them to success in your storeDevelop captivating merchandise displays that showcase the range of Lulus products, including clothing, footwear and accessoriesExecute floor moves in a way that creates clear stories and wearable buying suggestionsMonitor inventory levels, identify replenishment opportunities, and engage in regular stock auditsInspire and educate store stylists on product details, styling techniques, seasonal trend information, upcoming launches, and brand standardsEnsure an effective shipment process by utilizing reporting and business analysis to maximize new product placement on the floor and in back of house; create strategies for replenishment and recovery of sell-through and markdownsProvide weekly product and visual feedback to store management along with environment photos to highlight merchandising and display updatesBe obsessed with the details. Perfect your store's product assortment and implement best practices that will be utilized cross-functionallyEnsure high-quality product presentations every day together with the store teamLaunch and maintain all sales campaignsInfluence floor moves to drive salesLead as a brand ambassador, taking pride in the details of your storeWhat You'll Need
3+ years of visual merchandising experience in a fast-paced retail environmentThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing effectivelyGrowth mindset, embracing new opportunities and challengesAbility to adapt swiftly to various situations, ready to be hands-on when necessaryA passion for crafting exceptional customer experiencesCreative storytelling abilities and a deep love for fashion with a rich retail backgroundPassion for building exceptional customer experiences and creating processesFinalizing designs and creating detailed floor plans for display areasDemonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and nurture team members' growth and developmentStrong collaborative skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and departments leading to alignment, coordinating efforts, and sharing insights for overall successAutonomous, agile, entrepreneurial, and results-drivenNice to Have - Bonus Points!
