Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Senior Web Designer to join a team supporting the Veterans Administration.
Position Responsibilities:Use multiple different web tools to determine best approach for web page creation, operations, management, and maintenance.Work with Drupal (v10.2.2), WordPress, MS Teamsite templates (v21.4.2.0.0)Follow guidelines of U.S. Web Design SystemFollow guidelines of Section 508 and Web Content Access Guide 2.0 AAReview and follow customer Web Governance Framework, Graphics Standards, Design SystemMust understand HIPAAProvide Website and Social Media SupportDevelop and/or update website internet/intranet templates, including Teamsite, WordPress, or Drupal presentation templates and formsDesign, code, create mockups and Test codeProvide ad-hoc bug fix supportProvide ad hoc support for minor updates to a variety of websitesProvide online technical support, troubleshootingProvide supporting documentation, in the form of Concise Briefing Guides and/or TutorialsReview of sustainment fixes, content management, documentation, and trainingRequirements
Extensive experience in working with customer requirements and creating web sites.Figma [nice to have]Experience with human centered designExtensive experience with Drupal (v10.2.2), WordPress, MS Teamsite templates (v21.4.2.0.0)Custom coding (min to mod level) using HTML, ASP, XML, javascript, jQuery, GraphQL, NextJS, Metalsmith & Liquid Templates, React, Ruby, Bricks, and/or other similar technologiesQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.5 years of experienceCertified Web Professional (IWA) [desired]Web Site Manager (CWP) [desired]Java Development Certified Professional [desired]Microsoft Certified Professional Developer [desired]Experience working in VA [desired]The ability to obtain a Government clearance [required]Why Join Sierra7?
