We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Technical Writer to help us reach our goals.Job Summary and QualificationsYou will be part of a team that documents a portfolio of mobile apps, allowing critical communication between nurses, doctors, and other patient-facing clinical staff.This Senior Technical Writer position reports to the Technical Documentation Manager and is a key position on the Product Team.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Technical Writer is responsible for:Writing, updating, and delivering a clean documentation set for mobile software apps.Documentation set includes user guides, quick starts, online help, changelogs, internal procedures, and implementation/API guides.Using writing/authoring tools such as MadCap Flare and Word.Executing large documentation projects across the product portfolio self-sufficiently.Contributing to documentation strategy and planning.Ensuring consistency of branding and styles.Mentoring technical writers (I, II, III) and contractors.Required Skills, Education, and ExperienceBasic or better MadCap Flare skills or certification.Technical writing experience for external and internal audiences in a software environment.College degree.Occasional travel.Beneficial Additional Skills and ExperienceAny of the following experience is a plus: MadCap Central, Adobe Illustrator, SharePoint, JIRA, tech writing certification, mobile documentation, and healthcare industry experience.Mobile Heartbeat
