Senior Product Designer

(Contract)We are seeking an inventive and motivated designer to join our team to help create a personalized checkout experience that translates market needs to simple, creative and streamlined designs that meet those needs.Core ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the product, marketing, engineering and business team to refine concepts and hypotheses, aiming to enhance value throughout the checkout experience within the select target markets while balancing user and business needs.Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and bring new ideas to the team.Work with research team to conduct research to gain insights about your proposed designs as needed.Deliver delightful and impactful designs that bring our brand to life across the product experience and exhibit a high level of craft and refinement.Communicate designs, verbally and visually, to stakeholders and other team members.Foster and nurture a culture of design excellence, collaboration, and openness that places a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and product quality while encouraging creativity and inspiration at every step of the design process.Mentor and collaborate with fellow designers to elevate their skills and ensure the team is consistently maintaining and enhancing our standards of quality.Key Qualifications5+ years as a User Experience Designer, creating excellent experiences that delight the customer.Experience designing for responsive web and mobile apps.Strong visual, UI, and interaction design skills.Ensure that visual design mockups are consistent with Chegg style and brand guidelines.Exceptional in thinking and designing holistically to create a coherent product experience.Strong presenter and compelling storyteller with the ability to evangelize new ideas.Proven skills in motion design and experience creating dynamic interactive prototypes.Ability to collaborate with and inspire teammates.Relentless attention to detail and consistency.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.Preferred QualificationsExperience in designing consumer-facing products.Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field.Chegg out our culture and benefits!Chegg is an equal opportunity employer.
