Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.POSITION OBJECTIVE:To champion member continuous improvement through development and dissemination of industry targeted educational programming, resources and content across in-person and digital channels.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Translate organization continuous improvement priorities into education and content.Build, launch and lead educational program strategy and companion content to meet organizational strategy and revenue goals.Collaboratively identify and develop content and programming opportunities to encourage member continuous improvement and adoption of industry best practices on key emerging issues.Create and manage a process for identifying emerging member education needs; subject matter experts and other resources to address those needs.Works hand in hand with events, membership and business development staff to ensure content is consistent with conference and business development plans and effectively utilized for attendance promotion, partnerships and marketing.Research and recommend new forms of training and content delivery to benefit members.Participate in committee activities to inform program planning.Coordinate with project manager on consumer research efforts and provides guidance on how to utilize consumer research.COMPETENCIESCommunicationActive ListeningOrganizationCustomer ServicePresentationCreativityRequirementsBachelor’s degree in training and development, workforce development or equivalent field. Master’s degree preferred.At least five (5) years of experience in training and development.At least five (5) years of experience in the meat and/or poultry industry. Education in this field may be substituted for experience.Broad understanding of meat industry topics.Association experience preferred.
