Residential Landscape DesignerOffered Salary And Other CompensationDepending on your experience and performance record, we offer a yearly salary of $150,000 to $200,000, including a base salary and performance-based commissions. Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.Your Mission & Responsibilities As Residential Landscape DesignerYou will meet with homeowners at our Sun Valley office. No driving in LA traffic from appointment to appointment. You will work with clients to design their projects, in coordination with our in-house support team—including junior designers, apprentices, estimators, and others.Key Objectives IncludeEngage with 3-5 new clients weekly, sign them up for Landscaping Design Agreements.Translate client ideas into designs they love, working within their budgets.Collaborate with junior designers, apprentices, and estimators to refine and finalize designs swiftly.Manage client presentations from conceptual designs to revisions and ready for estimation.Successfully sell $100k - $200k of the construction projects a week.Required Experience And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or equivalent experience3+ years of landscaping design/construction experienceProvide portfolio CAD/Hand Sketch Designs. Completed job photos is a plus.Some sales experience is a plus. We will train the right person to be a high percentage closer.Ability to understand customer needs and create a realistic budget.Knowledge of local plants, space planning, and construction techniquesProficient in Microsoft OfficeAutoCAD knowledge is a plusConstruction knowledge is a big plusAbility and willingness to commute to Sun Valley Office dailyProlonged periods sitting at a desk working with clients and at a computerThis position will require up to 10% of travel for Job Walks and occasional client visits.Preferred Soft Skills And Personality TraitsExcellent Communication skillsStrong organizational skillExcellent salesmanshipProblem-SolverAbility to multitaskAttention to DetailAdaptabilityEmpathyEthical JudgmentTime ManagementThank you for sending your application online.Compensation: From $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
