Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) ensures that Republic Bank’s brands, products and services are best positioned and presented to our key audiences to achieve the organization’s near and long-term business goals. This position is responsible for all marketing through paid, owned and earned media across digital and traditional channels; for customer experience and innovation across all digital touchpoints; to ensure all efforts are customer-focused and prioritized to have the greatest ability to accomplish the Bank’s goals and all marketing strategies are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. This leader will work closely with all other areas of the Bank that engage with our audiences to ensure we present a consistent, customer-focused brand experience. Key audiences include current and prospective clients, as well as key stakeholders in our success including current and potential employees, shareholders, and the communities in which we conduct business.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:• Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering innovative and efficient marketing, customer experience and brand programs utilizing a highly coordinated array of tactics required.• Demonstrated results in acquiring new customers, increasing revenues from existing customers, and engaging key brand stakeholders including employees, shareholders, and the communities in which your organization conducted business required.• Minimum 3 years’ experience for each of the following required:o Working directly with and influencing senior level leaders and business or product line managers to identify business needs, strategies, and tactics to accomplish overall business goals.o Developing and implementing marketing programs across all channels including video (TV and digital), digital media (SEM, display), email and mobile messaging, audio (radio and digital), social media, print, out-of-home, direct mail, collateral and on-site merchandising; sponsorships and partnership marketing; and public relations and media relations.o Managing outside marketing agencies, online and mobile development providers, and analytics or research providers, as well as internal teams in each of these areas.o Leading digital customer-experience initiatives for organizations who conduct a significant portion of business with their customers online and/or on mobile.o Utilizing consumer research and insights, and analytics to identify key strategic opportunities to accomplish business goals; to define and develop customer-focused initiatives delivering high return on investment; and, to measure strategy and program effectiveness.o Budgeting and planning for marketing, media, digital development and analytics/research expenditures, P&L responsibility preferred.• 3 years’ experience working within a highly regulated environment preferred.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Work directly with and influencing senior leaders, and business and product line managers to identify business needs, strategies, and tactics to accomplish overall business goals.• Lead the marketing team in developing and implementing marketing programs across all channels including video (TV and digital), digital media (SEM, display), email and mobile messaging, audio (radio and digital), social media, print, out-of-home, direct mail; collateral and on-site merchandising; sponsorships and partnership marketing; and public relations and media relations.• Work closely with all other areas of the bank that engage with our audiences to ensure we present a consistent, customer-focused brand experience for all key stakeholders in our success including current and potential employees, shareholders, and the communities in which we conduct business.• In conjunction with direct reports budgeting and planning for marketing, media, digital development and analytics/research expenditures.• Work with Learning and Development to assist in internal communications so that they fit within our brand.• Know compliance responsibilities and particular requirements affecting your area of responsibilities incorporate these requirements into your business processes and procedures, perform periodic self-assessments including corrective action as needed, and assure appropriate training to associates regarding these responsibilities and procedures.• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.• Willing perform other duties and projects as assigned.INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:• Strong collaboration and communications skills to work with and influence leaders across the organization to accomplish the Bank’s goals.• Strong digital strategy development, planning and execution skills with ability to identify relevant emerging technologies to drive marketing/business results and communicate value of the technologies to the Bank’s leaders.• Strong creative instincts balanced with strategic and analytical capabilities resulting in the delivery of successful social media and digital marketing campaigns.• Organized, proactive, collaborative, and energetic self-starter who is results driven.• Proven ability to proactively initiate and complete tasks.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s guidelines, policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and the overall development of associates; coaching and mentoring while providing challenging opportunities to enhance career growth; planning, assigning, and directing work; setting expectations and appraising performance; recognizing and rewarding associates or recommending disciplinary action as appropriate; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and helping to build a positive team culture.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
