Candidates must be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, adapt easily to differing work styles and be open to alternate points of view to improve work processes, solve client needs and contribute to firm development, as applicable. As a part of the Crisis & Litigation Communications team, this role requires a demonstrated sense of urgency and responsiveness to client needs in a high-performing environment.What You’ll DoAs a Senior Consultant you will work across FTI Consulting Crisis & Litigation communications offerings, including litigation, complex issues management, government investigations, employment issues, operational incidents, cybersecurity & data privacy, and crisis preparedness. You will supervise research, help develop messaging and communications materials, gain exceptional project management skills, and collaborate with colleagues in other practice areas and geographies to address client challenges. Additionally, you will support strategy development and new business pursuits. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:Develop a thorough understanding of each client's business and industryPerform detailed and accurate research to underpin all client projects and deliverablesSupport client teams to deliver high quality work that achieves business objectivesDraft client materials, such as internal communications, stakeholder messaging and presentations under the direction of senior team membersContribute to the development of strategic project plans for client programsAnticipate client needs and concerns and proactively work with senior leaders to address themProvide strong project management support to ensure on-time delivery aligned with broader project plansProvide tactical support to team members as needed, including conducting research for new business pitchesWork with colleagues to produce new business pitch materialsSupport the development of new offerings that address needs in the marketFoster new talent development, establishing mentoring relationships with junior team membersDemonstrate a high level of integrity and asks the necessary questions to manage firm and client data responsiblyHow You’ll GrowDirect access to leadership with defined long-term career planning will ensure you continue to develop your skills as a communications and change management practitioner.
