The ideal candidate is skilled in the latest technologies, self-motivated with a strong innovation orientation, and has strong technical leadership skills.Essential Functions:
The electrical engineer who fills this position will join a product development team to design cutting-edge products that incorporate a wide range of wireless communications technologies into mission-critical communications infrastructure and devices.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with board schematic entryExperience with product development and manufacturing introductionExperience with Land Mobile Radio, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and other communications technologiesExperience working with component vendorsStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsEffective written and oral communication skillsAbility to work effectively with a cross-functional team#LI-OnsiteIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $89,000 - $165,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
