The role of a Community Manager involves a wide range of responsibilities, which can be categorized into the following key areas:Leadership and Team Development:

The Community Manager is responsible for fostering a positive and customer-oriented work culture. This includes training and developing team members, with a focus on employee engagement and retention.Customer Relations:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers is crucial.Financial Management:

Managing the financial performance of the property which includes budget variances, budget and forecast planning, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue.Property Standards and Resident Relations:

Ensuring that the community's condition and quality consistently meet company standards is a key responsibility. Additionally, the Community Manager develops and manages resident communications, anticipates and addresses resident relations challenges, and demonstrates problem-solving skills.Performance Monitoring and Compliance:

Monitoring and evaluating key metrics is essential to achieve company targets. The Community Manager creates renewal and leasing goals, monitors NTVs and NPS, and stays attentive to social media feedback. Regular audits and inspections ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and corporate compliance.Collaboration and Market Analysis:

The Community Manager fosters healthy collaboration and partnerships with other departments within the company. They also regularly update competitive data to inform pricing decisions, communicating these findings to senior management and the Revenue Manager.Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

High school diploma.Two years management experience in customer service environment; leasing experience preferred.Valid driver’s license; valid vehicle insurance.This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability a plus.On call as needed for after hours emergencies.Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.Community Details:Communities of Responsibility: Monte Vista
