We have built strong capabilities in precision medicine approaches for Oncology and are now looking to expand commercial capabilities in the field of immunology.We are currently recruiting for an Executive Director, Global Immunology Marketing-Precision Medicine. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for building and establishing precision medicine marketing function for the Immunology franchise across multiple therapeutic areas (Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, et.).The successful candidate will be charged with building precision medicine capabilities and expanding the team as the portfolio matures. The candidate will be leading & managing the development and implementation of commercial diagnostic strategies for our immunology assets with biomarker and diagnostic associated indications. The candidate will work in close collaboration with Brand Leads and Business Leads in Global Immunology Marketing as well as the Diagnostic Development Teams in our Research and Development Division to ensure cross functional alignment through clinical development and successful commercial implementation. Close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders across our company functions as well as external partners (diagnostic & device technology companies, reference laboratories, etc.) is fundamental to the success of the role. The role requires a proven track record in leadership and development of strategy, thinking laterally and shaping of Dx solutions in a constantly changing business environment. Strategic vision, strategy creation, execution, strong financial understanding/acumen are imperative skills to the success of the role.The role as Executive Director will report into Associate Vice President, Precision Medicine and be a key member of our Global Precision Medicine & Immunology Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, structured and exemplifies our inclusive ways of working; contributing to the development of evolving commercial models that ultimately create value for patients, payers and Healthcare Providers (HCPs).

Responsibilities:Establish precision medicine overarching vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Immunology franchise. Build capabilities and operating model to support the execution of vision and strategy.

Execute precision medicine product strategy and diagnostic Go-to-market plan roadmap to support the development & launch of our Immunology medicines.

Provide commercial diagnostic oversight and input on diagnostic target product profile development, partner selection, market research, business cases, BD&L activities etc.

Provide input into short & long-term Business Strategy, Planning & Forecasting; lead & guide development of diagnostic strategies & tactics, hereunder positioning, messaging etc.

Provide commercial leadership, support and expertise to Diagnostic Development Teams, Global Brand Teams, Regional & Local Marketing Organizations

Collaborate with diagnostic partners as well as medical affairs teams to develop robust scientific communications and educational plans for Diagnostic tools supporting our immunology portfolio.

Partner with clinical development team and external Dx partners to further refine target product profile and Go-to-market strategy

Education:Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: MSc, PhD or MBA

Required Experience & Skills:Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical & diagnostic marketing, with a strong focus on immunology

Experience in launch preparation & global roll out of diagnostics & Precision Medicine solutions

Deep scientific understanding of molecular targets and diagnostic technologies

Proven ability to work with many areas of marketing management including strategy development, competitive dynamics, and issues management in a highly complex and dynamic environment.

Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment. Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, lead and provide clear unambiguous expectations and priorities for the team

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong prioritization and decision-making skills with the ability to understand how the decisions fit into the broader context of corporate strategies.
