Terrific Director of Marketing & PR position with a nonprofit focused on inspiring young people through arts education. The Director will be a member of the management team and be responsible for overseeing the tactical component of the organization's marketing initiatives. They will also provide support on the strategic level. There will be a focus on launching campaigns to improve the organization's reach via print, digital, social, video, events, and public relations. The role will leverage analytics to drive growth and identify areas for improvement. The Director will manage and mentor a Marketing Associate and oversee external consultants. Qualified candidates should have approximately 5+ years of related marketing experience. This position is located in Princeton, NJ and operates on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for tactical initiatives and supporting marketing strategy

Provide data driven marketing strategies

Collaborate with team members and consultants to craft influential marketing campaigns and messaging for various audiences

Oversee all digital campaigns and ads

Develop and oversee the design of social media and email strategy

Contribute to the development of digital content

Participate in organizational efforts to improve DEI practices

Manage and oversee a Marketing Associate and external consultants

Qualifications:

Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience

Experience marketing educational programs, arts, or other related service a plus

Strong desire to further arts education and an understanding of the importance of arts education

Experience integrating DEI practices into marketing initiatives

Technologically savvy with the ability to interpret marketing data and analytics

Hands-on, self starter, excited about finding solutions for hurdles arising from technical initiatives

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
