We’re looking for an experienced, inspiring Creative Director with an equal passion for creating great work and leading others to it. You’ll be at the helm of a Creative Department comprised of teams hungry to produce great work for a broad, eclectic client roster. An ad veteran who’s been through the wars, leads by example, and contributes to a collaborative and respectful culture. A pro who can regale us with stories over an office happy hour beer or two. Oh, and a CD who’s expert at developing creative strategies, and working with clients to move their business forward. Sound like you? With the ECD, set a vision and standard for Creative work and is responsible for upholding the established standards of the agency.Lead teams to great creative work through direction, concept review, and feedback.Serve on Sr. Management and help establish and achieve goals of agency.Lead client presentations, and shape creative strategies for client work.Monitor allotted project hours and ensure profitability.Responsible for timelines, work flow, and overall management of projects in the department.Ensure the highest quality of produced pieces through production.Has an active role in new business.Contribute to agency culture in a way that is related to creativity and as defined by the ECD or Executive Leadership of the agency.Qualifications

At least 10+ years experience in Art Direction or Design, with experience as an ACD.Experience in leading teams and producing great work.The ability to work with or without supervision.Experience in leading clients and developing creative strategies.Experience in working in several creative mediums, including but not limited to: TV, digital, print, OOH, radio, and design.Ability to creatively lead the production process in several mediums, including but not limited to: TV production, print production, and the web development process.Accountability

Each year, The CD and his/her Executive Creative Director supervisor will develop and agree upon a series of tangible goals to be completed throughout the year. This, along with a formal review will measure the success of the CD’s performance. “Goal check” reviews happen four times per year (each quarter) with your direct report. One final, formal review happens each January.THIS IS A PREDOMINATELY A “WORK FROM THE OFFICE” JOB. While we currently offer “Work from Home Wednesdays”, this job requires that you work in our Chicago office Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.Direct applicants only.
