candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.ResponsibilitiesCreate attractive designs and layouts for various projectsMeet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desiresCommunicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needsPrepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clientsCreate quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followedMaintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevantQualificationsBachelor's degree 2 - 3 years of experience in related field Proficient in Microsoft Office suiteStrong creative and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to executeThe ideal

As one of the first team members our customers are greeted by at Outrageous Interiors + Design, associates work closely with customers in-store to help them achieve the #OutrageouslyChic design experience.ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers in the store, understanding their vision and goals for their home and helping them to achieve itAsk probing questions to understand the customer's needs and demonstrate selling behaviors by recommending, selecting and helping locate merchandise for customersPrepare and process new products for the sales floor and merchandise the products on the sales floor, continually looking for displays to improve and enhance throughout the storeMaintain and update the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays as new products arrive weeklyTake initiative and jump into new tasks daily, based on the needs of the companyOperate POS system to process paymentsShare with all customers design service offerings - from in-home design to in-store complimentary designRequirementsPrevious retail or sales experiencePassionate about communication and interacting with new people regularlyEnthusiastic attitude and passionate about teamwork and client satisfactionComfortable standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidaysTake initiative and jump into new tasks daily, based on the needs of the companyHours:
The store is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. The Interior Designer must work 5 days a week and at least two Saturdays a month are required. The Sales Associate must work 4 days a week and some Saturdays are required.
