Job Description Summary

As the Vice President of Communications at Lamb Weston, this person will serve in a key leadership role, driving the vision and strategy for all global internal and external communication activities across the organization. This role will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders within the organization to ensure that all communication is aligned with business objectives. This role is also be responsible for enhancing the company\'s external reputation, brand equity, and stakeholder engagement on a global scale.

Job Description

Strategic Leadership: Architect and implement a world-class, integrated communications strategy that aligns with the company\'s overarching business goals and long-term vision. Ensure that all communications initiatives amplify the company\'s market position and corporate narrative.

Executive Communications: Serve as a communications advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, offering strategic guidance on high-stakes communications, ensuring that leadership is consistently aligned with the company\'s communications objectives.

Global Internal Communications: Spearhead comprehensive internal communication strategies to ensure that our global team members are engaged, informed, and aligned with the company\'s values, mission, and strategic objectives. Foster a culture of open communication, transparency, inclusivity, and pride within the organization.

Implement cutting-edge communication tools and channels to enhance employee engagement and drive cultural transformation.Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to continuously refine and optimize the impact and effectiveness of internal communications.

Reputation Management: Lead the company\'s reputation management efforts globally, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all platforms, media, and geographies.

Crisis Management: Develop and maintain robust crisis-management protocols to effectively manage potential risks, ensuring readiness and effective response in times of need in order to protect the company\'s reputation. Ensure clear and timely communication is delivered.

Media Relations and Public Affairs: Build and manage high-level relationships with key media stakeholders and public affairs influencers to advance the company\'s objectives, including proactive reputation management and effective crisis communications. Leverage these relationships to influence public perception and policy in favor of the company\'s interests.

Team Development: Build and develop a team of high-performing, global communications professionals. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability, ensuring that the team is equipped to meet the evolving needs of the business. Manage departmental resources and performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness of communication initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other areas of the business including Change Management, Investor Relations, Marketing, Operations, etc. to ensure aligned messaging focused on business strategies. Engage with investors, analysts, and the Board of Directors to communicate the company\'s vision and performance.

Organizational Leadership: As a member of the HR leadership team, contribute to the overall vision of the company. Champion the company\'s values and leadership principles, driving cultural alignment and organizational effectiveness across all functions.

Lamb Weston Foundation: Oversee LW charitable contributions and volunteer programs

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field is required; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is highly preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, serving in a senior executive
