You bring along with your skills leadership experience to mentor, coach and support the people around you.Description: We're looking for a strong leader to conceptualize our brand identity, build brand affinity, and maintain continuity across visually driven departments where you will have direct reports from day one in Art, Design, UI/UX, and Marketing.What you'll be doing:

Craft, uphold and extend the ongoing visual identity of Branch.Contribute to the product design process and break down large tasks.Own and deliver complex projects from planning to execution.Contribute to the improvement process of existing products and visual components.Routinely seek diverse thought partnership and engage in ideations to gather feedback and inform rapid iteration throughout design process.Establish and maintain design pattern libraries and style guides in parallel to projects to drive continuity for internal team and consistent branded digital experiences for users.Help guide our overall strategy through design, prototyping, and market research.Help evaluate our art tools, process, and pipelines, identify potential problems and build plans to help solve them.Foster the growth of artists by providing meaningful feedback and guidance, while ensuring their work is aligned with art and creative direction.You're a great fit if you have:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.5+ years of professional experience in digital visual design and/or user experience.A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to identify good design and maintain continuity.Expert visual design skills with excellent understanding of layout design, typography, color theory, composition, and iconography.Ability to rapidly create highly polished, pixel perfect visual design mockups.Proficiency in a variety of digital design applications including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), etc.Excellent problem solving and analytics skills with a proven ability to understand and apply user data to design solutions.Demonstrated ability to effectively scope and estimate design tasks, manage multiple projects in parallel and exceed quality standards in a fast-paced, agile environment.Operates with a positive attitude and growth mindset, unafraid to challenge the status quo or receive constructive coaching and feedback.Restless curiosity to build and share know-how with peer set, demonstrating desire for growth within department and organization.Experience in the web3 landscape.Experience working with art teams in game development companies.Experience working with product teams in startups.Branch is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
