Sourcing and shopping for project fabric, finish and material optionsSourcing furniture and accessories, confirming pricing and availabilityGathering inspiration images for specific projects and studio libraryComposing mood boardsDrafting furniture plans and elevationsCreating budgets, schedules and specificationsMaintaining project bindersMaintain fabric and materials libraryFiling and organizing fabrics and materialsShopping at and returning samples to the design centerCoordinating vendor presentations for new products and materialsDistributing new cool and relevant product information to design teamsMaintaining vendor relationshipsRequired, Abilities, Background, and Skills:
Degree in Interior Design or Interior ArchitectureMinimum of 4 years Interior Design experienceProficiency in AutoCAD is an absolute mustAbility to work on multiple projects and oversee other designersKnowledge of local showrooms and vendorsUS Resident, Drivers License and CarCompensation will be based on experience; vacation/sick time and access to health care are a given.
