If this sounds like you, please join us as our Content and Communications Specialist/Manager.Working in collaboration with the marketing organization, senior leadership, sales, and product teams, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of effective internal and external communications as well as content marketing strategies. To be effective in the role, you must enjoy going deep in aquaculture and global fish research to uncover the stories that will drive growth. You must thrive on building relationships across a global organization and seek ways to continuously innovate and grow.In this role, you have a major impact on the growth of our business.Craft and execute the Innovasea content marketing, communications, and brand marketing programs, ensuring integration and optimization of content for relevant external and internal touchpoints such as social content, website, events, videos, thought leadership and sales enablement content targeted to key stakeholders and influencers globally.Elevating our brand through storytelling, serve as the main point of contact for Innovasea’s media strategy and build relationships with editors/reporters, handle media inquiries, pitch stories and lead crisis communications.Act as a change agent and help build a fast-moving, action-oriented, high-performance team with substantial visibility across the organization. Through effective storytelling, customer and employee engagement, implementation of innovative tools, processes, and measurement, you play a critical role in connecting strategy, demand creation, execution, and culture outside and inside Innovasea.Required Skills and ExperienceExceptional interpersonal and communications skills with experience working with cross-functional teams that include a high percentage of technical talentDemonstrated ability to engage, advise, influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior executive leadership and customersStrong verbal and written ability, including extensive experience in developing web, blog, white paper, conference presentation, email marketing, digital and video contentCollaborative team player with passion and ability to drive alignment to company values and brand internally and externallyExcellent ability to clearly and effectively frame and simplify complex information, and link to broad strategic business objectivesSeasoned project management, coordination, and organizational skillsDeep knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, PowerPoint, WordPress, Hootsuite, Onclusive and social media platforms with successful experience applying this technology to engage audiencesDemonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and effectively manage communications involving confidential and sensitive topics3-5 years in a marketing, communications, brand and/or digital marketing roleEducationCandidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related area.Benefits of the JobCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disabilityPaid time off and holidays401k with company matchHybrid schedule from our office in Fort Point, BostonInnovasea is an equal opportunity employer.
