Anthropic Labs is seeking creative and versatile UI Engineers to design and implement innovative user experiences for our cutting-edge AI technology. As part of the Labs team, you will work closely with researchers, designers, and product managers to rapidly prototype and validate experimental applications of Anthropic's latest AI models.

Craft intuitive and compelling user interfaces that showcase the power of frontier AI technologyCollaborate with designers and researchers to ideate and prototype novel interaction models and UI paradigmsImplement high-fidelity, production-quality UI code for web and mobile applicationsDevelop reusable UI components and libraries to accelerate prototyping effortsAdvocate for usability, accessibility, and design excellence across Labs initiativesConduct user testing and analyze feedback to inform iterative UI improvementsProvide UI development mentorship to grow the team's capabilitiesQualifications:
5+ years of experience building modern, responsive user interfaces for web and mobileExpert proficiency in frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, CSS, HTMLSolid grasp of UI/UX design principles and ability to implement designs with high fidelityExperience prototyping interactive UI concepts and collaborating closely with designersKnowledge of accessibility best practices and web standardsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to creatively apply UI patterns to AI-driven experiencesStrong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teamsPassion for creating thoughtful, user-centric interfaces that responsibly integrate AI capabilitiesPortfolio demonstrating range of UI design and development workExample projects you might work on:
