Additional hours will be required to include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Travel required. This job is not suitable for remote work and is expected to work regular, on-site hours.Purpose:

Oversee the video organization and operation for the men's basketball program.Responsibilities:Assists the Camp Director with the organization and registration of camp.Assists the Head Men's Basketball Coach, the Assistant Men's Basketball Coaches and the Assistant Athletics Director for Men's Basketball Operations as assigned.Assist with administrative responsibilities such as mail outs, official visits, and unofficial visits. Compiles video library of opponents and coordinates the video exchange program. Assists coaches with game video preparation and scouting reports. Assists the Assistant Athletics Director for Men's Basketball Operations with duties associated with road games, including video capture and editing.Manage and oversee videotaping of all practices and games, breakdown of opponents' video, maintain a video library, both archives and current, manage all other aspects of the video operations. Work with Assistant Coaches on all opponent scout and personnel edits for upcoming opponents.Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics. Always act ethically. Proactively seek guidance when unsure or unclear of a law, rule or policy applicable to you or your department/sport program. Actively participate in assigned education and training programs. Comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System, The University of Texas at Austin, NCAA, Conference, or other governing body, including state and federal laws.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree. Three years combined experience as a basketball staff member in the areas of video, operations or assistant coaching. Excellent IT and digital technology skills. Experience preparing video and written scouting reports for opponents. Experience with sports video functions and technologies including but not limited to XOS Digital, Sports Tech, Synergy Sports Technology and Sports Code. Experience with NCAA Compliance issues. Thorough understanding of men's basketball program to include practices, player development, game films, travel, and events. Experience directly related to the essential functions. Excellent interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor. Demonstrated commitment to The University of Texas Intercollegiate Athletics Core Values. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred Qualifications:Five years combined experience as a basketball staff member in the areas of video, operations or assistant coaching. Experience as a student athlete in collegiate athletics.Driving Required:

This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
