You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to exceed targets from brand awareness to product introductions. Must have deep agricultural industry experience and be able to grasp channel and grower trends and generate creative ideas as well as being equally versed in specialized marketing concepts. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs and insights that will help grow our reputation and accelerate growth.
Responsibilities:
Participate and lead the strategic planning including positioning for new & existing markets, competitive analysis, customer segmentation & penetration plans, and related product positioningIdentify, interpret, and capitalize on industry trendsDevelop and lead the strategy for pricing, messaging, packaging, programming, and selling our productsAnalyze competitive market offerings to identify differentiators and pricing/program strategiesEvaluate partnership opportunities for products and/or integrated servicesOversee product launches, providing product sales training and presentationsRepresent the voice of the customer at internal meetingsSupport the sales team and key channel partnersConduct market research to find answers about grower requirements, habits and trendsWork with international external partners to execute on the local strategic marketing planRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or marketing15+ years of related experience in the agricultural market (insecticides preferred)Proven experience in progressive sales/marketing rolesAbility to work in a diverse fast paced environment and clearly communicate cross-functionallyThorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.) and market research methodsDemonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and toolsProfessional computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)Well-organized and detail orientedExceptional communication and writing capabilitiesMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have an entrepreneurial mindset
