Graphic Designer/Social Media Specialist

for a woman-owned bakery client of ours in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have food/beverage industry experience with a creative specialization in social media marketing. This is a fully remote, part-time, 3-month contract opportunity that has the possibility of extension.

In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.What You’ll Do:Create monthly content calendars for social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to build meaningful customer connections, increase brand awareness, and encourage community members to engage with the brand.Create, draft, and publish content to social media daily: this includes publishing stories daily and creating 15 posts/reels monthly.Coordinate the development of new graphics and images for social media.What You’ll Need:Experience creating/developing social media content with an understanding of multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).Ability to create content for social posts, stories, and reels required.Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create content for socials.Experience creating and maintaining a social content calendar.Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.Experience in the food industry is required.
