We're seeking a Staff Product Designer with a passion for simplifying complex workflows and handling data reporting to join our multi-disciplinary Shipping Solutions Team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building tools for enterprise workflows and understanding global logistics.You will:
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define product requirements and translate them into effective design solutions for new products focused on order management and booking management tools.Develop and maintain a cohesive design strategy that aligns with Flexport’s design system.Conduct user research to gather insights and understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes to visualize design concepts.Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.Analyze feedback and data from usability tests to iterate on and refine designs.Present design ideas and rationale effectively to stakeholders.You should have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.7+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on user experience and interface design.Proven experience designing complex data-driven products or applications.Experience working in a cross-functional team including engineers and business stakeholders.Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.Experience with prototyping tools and usability testing methodologies.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy.Worried about not having any logistics experience?
