Key Qualifications, Skills and Education:Must have 2+ years in property management in a supervisory positionMust have at least 2 years of Project Based Section 8 program experienceClear understanding of General Ledgers, budgetingClear grasp of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisionProficient in reading and writing EnglishAbility to work effectively with common Microsoft software applicationsExceptional customer service abilitiesAbility to empathize with residents and staff while still enforcing community rules and policiesExcellent problem solving, listening and reasoning skillsDescription: We are a property management company looking for a Community Manager to join our team in Santa Ana, CA.In this role, you will be responsible for the overall operations, including the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-managed and maintained community. You will ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state, and local laws; maintain a supportive environment for all residents; manage site staff and their duties; and interact with and supervise vendors.Responsibilities:Hires, supervises, trains, evaluates, and develops staffProvides daily leadership for the teamIdentifies appropriate contractors, defines scope of work, and obtains necessary bidsPerforms property inspections to maintain curb appeal and assess maintenance issuesOversees maintenance program including supervision, inspections, and monitoring work ordersAddressees resident concerns including but not limited to: property repairs, neighbor disagreements, and renewal agreementsPrepares annual budget, monthly variance reports, and processes invoicesProcesses invoices in Yardi and submits for paymentCreates a positive company cultureProvides daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by Regional ManagerPromptly reports property liability claims, employee worker’s compensation claims, and property loss claims according to company policyApproves payroll for all staff members including commissions and bonuses when applicableAdvocates Risk Management initiatives for employee safetyJob Type:
