This is a Full-Time, Remote position. Anticipated application deadline is September 9, 2024.As a Design Build Coordinator in the construction and foodservice industry, you will support our commercial kitchen design projects. In collaboration with our Design team, you'll contribute to the creation of draft layouts, production drawings, and presentation materials. This role involves working closely with clients during schematic design, design development, and prototypical package development, making it a rewarding entry point into the field.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborative Design Support:

Assist in collaborative efforts on various commercial kitchen projects, gaining exposure to all design phases.Work closely with senior team members to contribute to design concepts and project deliverables.

Conceptualization and Sketching:

Contribute to the conceptualization of design layouts, utilizing creative input to enhance space utilization and workflow efficiency.Learn to conduct basic capacity and sales studies to inform design decisions.

Client Interaction and Learning:

Engage in client interactions to understand their spatial requirements and preferences.Collaborate with the team to translate client visions into actionable design elements.

Coordination and Documentation:

Assist in coordinating the lifecycle of drawings, from order placement to procurement, under the guidance of experienced team members.Learn to document design plans, ensuring clarity and adherence to quality standards.

Presentation and Training Documentation:

Contribute to the development of graphical presentation drawings, showcasing design concepts to clients and stakeholders.Participate in the creation of training documentation, gaining exposure to industry standards and best practices.

Problem-Solving and Learning Curve:

Proactively identify challenges and work alongside experienced team members to find innovative solutions.Embrace a continuous learning curve, leveraging mentorship opportunities to enhance problem-solving skills.
