Senior Art Director

to join for an approximate 5-month project at 40/hours per week.As a

Senior Art Director , you’ll help our client bring offerings to market—products, services, brands, and categories. In this role, you will be creating a variety of assets used to engage and attract customers, working alongside a global team of designers, writers, and production teams to deliver your designs.Ideally, you have experience working in an iterative process and professionally lead art direction and address feedback. In addition to strong design skills, you have strong organizational skills, web expertise, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail.You should be comfortable engaging entry-level through executive stakeholders and working with many different types of creative professionals and creative outputs. Because the work is so varied, fast-paced, and high pressure, the person in this role should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will partner closely with a variety of peers and stakeholders such as customer research, brand strategy, content strategy, go-to-market, and site merchandising to achieve key strategic goals.As a Senior Art Director, You Will

Create merchandising and marketing campaigns that elevate our client’s brand across multiple online and offline channels.Mentor, but not manage, a team of visual designers and production designers.Build trust, respect, and credibility with stakeholders and leadership.Develop elevated creative that supports and reinforces our product vision, brand, and business objectives.Advocate for customers and integrate user research in the creative process.Illustrate a command of creative methods, tools, communication, and presentation skills.Partner with our customer and market research teams to intake and synthesize customer insights and data into creative that is impactful and delivers results.Grow team knowledge of best design practices and trends.As an Applicant, You Bring

Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating online marketing, retail merchandising, visual branding, and user-centered design solutions.10+ years of professional experience in a creative agency.Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch/Adobe XD, Figma, and other image-optimizing applications to create online user experiences.Ability to work independently to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions to leadership.Familiarity with content management systems.Ability to work within, and collaborate on, design systems.Proven experience with rapid, iterative concepting and development processes.Experience managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.Strong grasp of the creative process; from ideation through implementation.Understanding of production best practices for still, video, and motion graphics.Additional Position Details

Pay Range:
