Founded in 1997, ASG has teams based in Northern California, Los Angeles, the New York Tri-State Area, the Southeastern US, and the Rocky Mountain Region & London.We are looking for:Video Production Specialists to join our talent network to be considered for future opportunities onsite in London. The ideal VPS is a multi-skilled technician who has knowledge in the areas of cameras, video switching equipment, lighting, and audio. This non-exempt role works on a per-project basis. Sometimes projects are one day, sometimes longer.Job Responsibilities:Provide production support for in-studio, remote and on-location shoots, which consists of:Preparing and organising studio spaces before production.Operating camera and audio equipment, lighting and teleprompter, as well as the maintenance of all production gear.If supporting remote production, providing technical guidance and support virtually, and providing remote teleprompting support if needed.Securely ingesting, organising and handing off all media to the post-production team via an established workflow.Execute the recording of voice overs and podcast material.Operate and maintain computer systems related to video production.Prep and load equipment for on-location shoots and ensure all equipment returns to the studio and storage areas.Collaborate with Studio Lead(s) to help maintain and update inventory of equipment in studios.Keep storage areas and studios organised, clean, and safe.Review footage and actively seek and recommend improvements to increase production quality and streamline various workflows.Assess equipment needs for upcoming productions and consult with producers and Studio Lead for any necessary rentals.Maintain expert level status by staying up to date on current equipment and emerging production processes.Assist with location scouting.Conduct tests of new equipment and production concepts.Work with production and editorial teams to make sure there are no issues or improvements that can be made on set.Meet regularly with the Studio Lead and Creative Technical Lead to ensure best practices and standards are being met.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 3 years experience with studio & on-location video shootsWorking knowledge of studio and green screen productionAdept at quickly learning how to use new studio technologies (lights, cameras, etc).Ability to problem solve as issues arise during productionWorking knowledge of Adobe & relevant production softwares (EG Iconik)Basic understanding of Apple computers and troubleshooting on themExperience in live event corporate settings, working with high level talent.Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology.Thorough understanding of video, audio, and lighting transport standards.Friendly and helpful attitude toward producers and stakeholders on shoots.Understanding of all steps of the production process to properly communicate with the team.Respectful and clear communication with team members and stakeholders through written form and in-person meetings.Willingness to help other team members.Responsive, clear and concise communication through email and video calls.Compensation & Benefits:This part-time position offers a range between £450-£550 GBP / Per day depending on experience.Advanced Systems Group LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
