What We Need: 2K is looking for a Director, Global Brand Marketing, to join its Core Games group and lead the marketing efforts for our Cloud Chamber portfolio of projects, including the BioShock franchise. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Brand Marketing (Core Games), you will play a critical role in ushering in a new era for BioShock, leading the development of the global marketing strategy and driving the execution of global marketing plans that maximize customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. What You’ll Do: Global Marketing and Product Strategy:

Develop the global marketing strategy, define customer journeys, target audience prioritization, product positioning, brand partnership guidelines and activations, and key messaging and content plans. Consult and partner closely with product development teams to ensure a firm understanding of the game vision and relevant positioning. Collaborate with international marketing teams in the US, Europe, and Asia in the development of high-impact regional marketing plans. Lead definition, briefing, and development initiation of all core global brand creative. Be responsible for the marketing budget and maintain an understanding of our targets and expenses. Global and Insight Driven Mindset: Set and evaluate global campaign performance targets, incorporating best practices derived from analysis of data. Be an expert on our competition to ensure clear differentiation in offerings and communications. Leadership, Collaboration and Communication: Be a strong collaborator with cross-functional partners across Product Development and Commercial. Regularly partner, present, and report to studio leadership and 2K stakeholders on marketing strategies and recommendations. Create an environment that inspires and empowers your team. Lead and grow your team, managing performance and further developing roles and responsibilities. What Will Make You a Great Fit: A proven track record (8-10+ years) as a Global Brand Marketing leader in games or an adjacent industry. Flexibility and ability to collaborate successfully in a highly matrixed organization. Ability to utilize insights, data, and metrics to communicate player needs. Powerful presentation skills with the ability to represent to peers and company leadership. Passion for video games and content-driven experiences.
