Lead Communications Consultant, Labor Relations CSBB

About this role:

This position will develop and execute a strategic communications program that focuses on executive and internal communications for all matters pertaining to labor relations including collective bargaining. The successful applicant will work closely with Consumer, Small and Business Banking (CSBB) executives and the cross-functional Labor Relations teams including Legal, HR and others to effectively communicate employee engagement priorities and labor relations updates into content that informs and engages internal audiences. This position will office in Charlotte, NC or Dallas ,TX or Minneapolis, MN or St. Louis, MO or Tempe, AZ or West Des Moines, IA and does not offer relocation assistance.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to CSBB executive(s)
  • Support implementation of an annual communications strategy, in partnership with other communications teams across the enterprise, to ensure alignment of strategies and messages.
  • Develop and implement communications strategies and plans that drive employee-engagement priorities and effectively convey key labor relations updates
  • Identify strategic storytelling opportunities that promote employee engagement and key initiatives
  • Lead innovative approaches and write compelling content leveraging multiple channels for creative and effective storytelling
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience developing integrated communications strategies and plans for major corporations
  • Experience communicating with a unionized and non-unionized workforce, and familiarity with U.S. labor law
  • Experience preparing senior leaders on high profile issues and delivery of internal communications
  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
  • Experience writing and developing compelling content across various social, internal, and digital channels
  • Experience presenting information that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels
