We’re looking for a talented, resourceful and versatile editor to work on some of the highest-profile stories at Bloomberg News with the Markets Editing group in the Americas.

You’ll be challenged to think creatively and elevate our work for a global audience, and you’ll have the versatility and wherewithal to edit a range of subjects. Your coverage universe will span the breadth of the financial markets -- equities, ETFs, U.S. Treasuries, corporate debt, crypto, and municipal finance, to name a few.
You’re a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a quick study who thrives under pressure and can navigate unfamiliar territory with aplomb. You’re an efficient and well-rounded editor who’s agile enough to jump across different markets and can collaborate with a variety of teams and personalities.
You produce crisp and concise edits that resonate with a wide audience -- from our most sophisticated terminal users to our casual online readers. We’ll expect you to contribute across platforms to elevate copy, mentor reporters, and shape compelling story ideas. You’ll be strongly encouraged to lead high-impact, enterprise stories that raise the bar of our markets coverage.
We’ll trust you to:Edit short- and long-form copy. Be game for everything from short, bullet-point blasts to complex, ambitious enterprise.Work closely with reporters to develop and refine their stories.Cut through jargon, and make complex stories appealing and understandable to a broad business audience.
You’ll need to have:Recent financial journalism experience.Intellectual curiosity and strong news judgment.Top-notch writing skills and the ability to craft concise, clean prose under deadline pressure.The ability to work in a big, fast-paced newsroom and collaborate across teams with various stakeholders.
Salary Range = 120000-160000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
