Identify and support profitable business opportunities, focusing on Return on Sales (RoS) and revenue targets.Engage with customers to define material requirements and lead material selection for RFQs and specifications.Determine costs of products for incoming quote requests, and current products as requested.Calculate price based on existing cost structures, support implementing new and competitive pricing strategies.Understand, review drawings and other industry-related documents; draw conclusions.Define requests with special designs/materials in cooperation with Technical Department concerning new articles and/or production processes of O-Ring products.Modify and maintain reporting tools to create market picture, create new reports for new markets.Support use and continuous improvement of existing Pricing Tools.Input all needed parameters into pricing tool (material, design, production process) if needed: cooperation with Technical Department.Understand and analyze North American market trends, collect and maintain competitor information, and generate reports for emerging markets.Determine product costs, implement competitive pricing strategies, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Review and propose material rationalization to reduce complexity and manage out the list of materials.Build effective relationships with customer engineering, quality, purchasing, and plant personnel.Perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and strategic goals.Support Sales and Product Marketing team on customer visits, calls, and tech days to promote high level of knowledge of the material properties and behaviors in presented applications by customers.Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application, and presence at customer for availability.Listen, understand and convey customer requirements, while building effective relationships with customer engineering, quality, purchasing and plant personnel.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or Materials Science and Engineering preferred, MBA a plus.Proficiency in MS Office products, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel (formulas, Pivot tables, formatting).Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).Proficiency in data analysis, calculations, and reporting.Due diligence in ensuring accuracy, predictability, and traceability.Proficiency in reading product drawings and specifications, especially in General Industry and Aerospace.Verifies engineering outputs for product costing to meet strategic objectives and cost targets; ensures Team Feasibility is completed prior to costing.Ability to implement and monitor short- and long-term program objectives, striving for continuous improvement.Exceptional understanding of business drivers, proactive in optimizing business results.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.Team-oriented and self-motivated.Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.Value for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations.
