Job DescriptionWe have a current opening for
Radiology Image Library Associate . Processes all incoming and outgoing digital radiology imaging per radiology policies.
You Will:
Perform routine digitizing of submitted exams as described in the Dept. of Radiology Policy and Procedure Manual. Responsible for uploading outside radiology exams on a consistent and timely basis.
Handle incoming orders with meticulous scrutiny and ensure that all steps are completed.
Pro-actively communicate with relevant staff when issues arise.
Prioritize your shift in accordance with image library policies and procedures.
Manage your time effectively and understand the escalation process for problem solving.
Ensure that PHI is protected and accurately transcribed into radiology systems.
Ensure patients receive high level customer service when requesting exams outbound.
You Have:
Experience working in a hospital or other healthcare setting in Radiology and/or advanced technical position.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Advanced computer knowledge (MS Office-Outlook and Excel experience).
Knowledge of EPIC, PACS, LifeIMAGE, AMBRA, PowerShare is helpful.
Hours:
Hybrid role: 9AM to 5PM. Must be flexible. Come on site upon need.
10% night differential available for all hours worked from 4 PM to midnight.
